My being encaptures strength, because I have survived an assault so intimate, so manipulative, so incredibly warped, but I know that in time, I will not only merely survive, but thrive.

I know that I will rise, and ultimately surpass the potential I once held, prior to my history of abuse. I am confident in this statement, as I encompass a newly found resilience; one that I did not grasp before him.
