I continuously remind myself to stay clear of seeking approval of my peers and those above me.

Acknowledging that I wouldn’t be the person I am today if it wasn’t for the resilience and strength to overcome and blossom through the concrete cracks of hardships. Understanding that knowledge brings power, and using this as a survival tool on daily basis and encouraging the women around me to do the same.

The perseverance to go against the grain of what feels easy in-order to pursue passions that feed and invigorate my energy flow. Accepting that along the way of all my success I will also make mistakes, with that being said I continuously remind myself to stay clear of seeking approval of my peers and those above me.

Lastly, making an effort to use my voice to stand up for what is right no matter the circumstances, because ultimately the only way to trigger change is to spread the seed of truth.
