What Makes Me A Stong Woman?

First and foremost, my mom is the strongest lady in my life. I grew up in a low-class area, not a lot of money, surrounded by working class, blue collar people. Most people would see this as a disadvantage, but I found so much strength, admiration, and inspiration from this community. One of these people being my mom.

My mom has always put in the hours to try to give my brother and me the best life. It’s important to mention this because she has helped me find my strength. She has taught me to be resilient and persevere, no matter what obstacles might arise. Through her is where I find my strength. The strength to realize I am very fortunate, as a woman, to make a living being a magician and entrepreneur. It’s what grounds me and makes me realize that it’s about the journey and not the instant spark of success.

So having this lived experience is what makes me a strong woman.
