Admit your weaknesses, find your strengths, surround yourself with those that lift you up.

My strength comes from my daughter and my determination to make a better world for her and all children in the future. I’ve always found it difficult to fight for myself, but having someone else to fight for a better world has in turn made me a better advocate for myself.

Being 8-months pregnant at the time of the trial almost broke me. I have never felt so weak and scared but knowing that I needed to make sure my little girl never had to endure what myself and so many other women and children had to endure allowed me to find mama bear strength and my OWN inner strength.

Of course, I would not be where I am today without the love and support of my husband. He continuously displays the patience and love I have needed despite all the daggers I have thrown throughout my continued healing journey.

My strength comes from my losses, my successes, my failures, my journey, my story. To everyone who is struggling, I see you. I hear you. I believe you. You are worthy. You deserve the world. Find your tribe, wherever and whomever it it may be. Admit your weaknesses, find your strengths, surround yourself with those that lift you up. And never, ever let anyone silence your voice.
