I am a strong woman because I am empathetic, outspoken and independent.
A few years ago I was convinced I was not a strong person. I was always the first of my friends to cry in a movie, the first to speak out when things upset me, and it had been years since I had been in a relationship. But now that I look back on my reasons for thinking I wasn’t strong, I can’t help but laugh thinking they are the same reasons that I am in-fact a very strong woman.
I am a strong woman because I am empathetic, outspoken and independent. I know my worth and do not compromise my values for anyone else. I am not afraid to reveal my emotions and speak up when I am hurt. I push myself through the hard, and allow myself to rest when I deserve it.
I am a strong woman.
