As women, we hold ourselves to impossible and contradictory standards. We are supposed to be empathetic, caring, selfless, and nurturing, while remaining inhumanly stoic in the amount we endure for ourselves and others. What makes me a strong woman is knowing the extent of my limitations. Being able to set boundaries has been one of the greatest challenges of my life, but simultaneously one of the most empowering.
